The Shulamite's Humble Beauty and Search

Song 1:5-7

1
Chapter 1
5 I am dark and lovely, O daughters of Jerusalem—like the tents of Kedar, like the curtains of Solomon. 6 Do not look at me because I am blackish; the sun has scorched me. The sons of my mother were furious with me; they made me keeper of the vineyards—my own vineyard I did not keep. 7 Tell me, you whom my soul loves, how do you pasture your flock, how do you lie down at noon, O Shulammite? I will be like one who is veiled beside the flocks of your companions.
